Just a quickie,
I am back from a medical mission in Mexico where I was doing some medical consultation. This shocking experience revealed to me that I take things for granted. Hence, on the last day, we visited a "bario" where people were living in shelters made of cartboards and were slepping on the floor. The children were suferring from malnutrition. When questionning a mother as for the reason her child was not eating, she answered :"we are poor, we do not have money for food." Since it was our last day of mission, we pretty much emptied our supplies to the very grateful crowd.
It was the first time I was doing consultation in the outdoor and the hissing sound coming from the bushes had nothing to re-assure me!LOL.
I have yet to post the pictures on my mission web site because I had forgotten to bring my camera and rely on the other missionaries to send me their pictures.
Good night!
Nathalie
